The thought came gently and stealthily, and it seemed long before it attained full appreciation; but just as my spirit came at length properly to feel and entertain it, the figures of the judges vanished, as if magically, from before me; the tall candles sank into nothingness; the flames went out utterly; the blackness of darkness supervened; all sensations appeared swallowed up in a mad rushing descent as of the soul into Hades.

Then silence, and stillness, and night were the universe.

If all goes according to plan, Spring 2011 will be the start of The Pit and the Pendulum Interactive Game!
Indeed, all manner of mind bending fun and frivolity will be yours, should you commit to playing along (by the rules, of course)! Join us here and wend your way through a miasmic plethora of word puzzles, cryptographs, word & language challenges to try your mettle. The puzzles, as well as some clues, will be scattered about the Interactive Comic and this site, via PDF hyperlinks, QR Codes, hidden words and letters within the text and even images on the site! To win and collect one of the five (5) rewards, you’ll first have to find the puzzles and provide the correct answers. In the correct answers will be more information leading to the next set of puzzles!

Those who succeed in finding the answers to all the puzzles, (and we do mean ALL the puzzles), will have a chance, albeit a slim one, of winning one of five copies of the Pit and the Pendulum short film on DVD!
